Goodguy McBadguy This is why I don't have kids. Neglectful me. I've been in love with their album, Hyderomastgroningem, since it came out. I've finally learned the words to the songs, and even added the title itself to my computer dictionary long ago as a recognized word. It's mid-2022 and I'm just learning about this album. So, as much as I love this music, I'm not sure I could've responsibly handled it in my life before now. Ha. Rad. This is fantastic! Favorite track: Zworrisdeh.

Sprawling complex technicolor waves of (trying my best here) post-noise-punk dadaist avant-garde jazz-fusion layered in a way I thought couldn't even exist, but here it is, and it's glorious. Supreme musical ability from all of them, with dynamic, polyrhythmic musical absurdities from their tight performance. Much of their work is immediately enjoyable, but due to the depth of their performances, with polyrhythms, harmonies, syncopations, etc., it's got tremendous listenability. aurals
